Woodland and open green spaces create a real sense of freedom with lots of opportunities to let off steam; the animal enclosure ,where they can watch the sheep and donkey graze or the hen house where they could perhaps help to collect the freshly laid eggs give city children a chance to experience rural life.

We remember only too well that travelling with babies & toddlers and all the things they require can be a bit of an upheaval!
We can provide travel cots, high chairs, changing mats, baby baths & potties all free of charge & there is also a buggy suitable for up to 3 yrs old. Please request these in advance.

We are also aware that children need quiet time too, especially on hot days, so when they need to wind down after a busy day, the cool & spacious games room has plenty to keep them occupied while the barbecue is being prepared.
Further afield there is a wealth of attractions for children. From adventure play parks and underground caves to trips on a real steam train and canoeing down the river Dordogne, they should never be bored here!
When they tire of the pool, table tennis, badminton and boules add variety for older children while the swings,chute and sandpit ensure that even the little ones have something to do.
There is also a wide selection of DVDs for all ages if they need to just chill out after a hectic day!

"What a fabulous place! The cottage and all the outside facilities (including the laundry room) were superb! The kids had such a good time that they didn't want to leave. Elena, Amar and their two lovely children Emma and Alistair are the most helpful and friendly hosts. Les Crouquets is a home from home, with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. The kids were never bored as there was lots to do and plenty of children to play with. It is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed at and would highly recommend it for families as it is very child friendly and safe for children. Thank you for a lovely holiday!"
