What is Pitch & Putt?
Free unlimited play & use of equipment
Our 9 hole pitch & putt course is built on a 2.5 hectare field and is for the exclusive use of our guests.
It would be fair to say it's not the stuff that Tiger Woods dreams of (!) but it's ideal for the occasional player or for good players who can practise their short game.
The holes are between 45m and 90m long and are played only with irons and putters.
Use of the course is free & unlimited and the clubs and balls are also provided.
Family holidays in France
Pitch and putt is an amateur sport, similar to golf but organized as an independent sport, played and developed mainly in Ireland since the 1940s.
The maximum length of hole for international competitions is defined up to 90 metres (with a total length of maximum 1,200 metres) and the players may only use an iron and a putter.
IRONS- clubs with a flat angled face and a shorter shaft than a wood, designed for shots approaching the green or from more difficult lies such as the rough, through or over trees, or the base of hills. High-loft irons are called wedges.
PUTTERS- a special class of clubs designed to roll the ball along the grass, generally from a point on the putting green towards the cup.
