Castles
The area between Sarlat and Perigeux is the one of the most attractive parts of the Perigord and is often referred to as "the land of a thousand castles". There are several very interesting castles within easy driving distance of Les Crouquets.
Les Crouquets is situated in the Perigord Noir, undoubtedly the most visited region of the Dordogne. There is so much to do here for all the family that it would be difficult to be stuck for something to do!

Famous for its gastronomy, this is a food lover's paradise.Delicious black truffles, cepes, walnuts and foie gras are to be found in abundance.

There are several local producers and too many restaurants to mention, so there's no shortage of places to sample these culinary pleasures. We'll be more than happy to direct you to our favourites!

A visit to the daily market stalls groaning under the weight of gleaming fresh produce is not to be missed.
