The Perigord Noir is the heart of French gastronomy and the specialities of foies gras, duck, walnuts & cepes (penny bun mushrooms!) are to be found in abundance.
There are several local producers as well as plenty of good restaurants and so no shortage of places to sample these culinary pleasures. We'll be more than happy to direct you to our favourites!
Why not soak up the atmosphere with a visit to the local market? Each town has its own market day so you'll be spoiled for choice!
